Fake Purpose started at the beginning about 2 years ago in 2007 with Mary (Voice, guitar, lyrics) and Jessy (Keyboard, Drum Machine)...in a basement. Their first show was on March 30 2008 in Montreal with Sunriser (TO) and Postcards (MTL). Then they took time to record a Demo and compose songs and after the recording, unsatisfied with the Drum Machine, they added a new member, Gilbert (drum) and recently, martin (Bass) to complete the band. After a lot of work and many rehearsals the band is now ready to rock and hit the scene for the next years to come and if all goes well, the recording of an E.P that will sound better in October 2009 is to come with their Drummer and new bassist...And It Starts Now!

Fake Purpose a au tout début, débuté il y a environ 2 ans en 2007 avec Mary au chant, à la guitare et à la composition et avec Jessy au synthétiseur, accompagné d’un Drum machine….et dans un sous-sol. Leur premier show à eu lieu à Montréal le 30 Mars 2008 avec Sunriser (TO) et Postcards (MTL). Un temps d’arrêt à eu lieu pour l’enregistrement d’un démo, la composition de chansons et par la suite, insatisfait du drum machine, l’intégration d’un nouveau membre, Gilbert au drum et depuis peu, Martin à la bass pour compléter le groupe. Après beaucoup de travail et plusieurs pratiques, le Band est donc prêt à Rocker et faire le plus de shows possible dans les prochaines années à venir et si tout ce passe bien, l’enregistrement d’un E.P qui va mieux sonner vers la mi-octobre 2009 avec leur drummer et nouveau bassiste…And It Starts now!
