Guitarist Filip Dessle , bassplayer Gustav Silèn and Drummer Patrik Brach started jamming back in 2004, mostly goofing around on their instruments in search for the right touch. After a while the band found the rocking sound which they are sticking on to to this day and got a little bit more serious, starting to write their own songs and do recordings on Patriks portable studio. A shocking breakup occured in late 2004 due to Gustavs heavy drug-abuse and weekends in the slammer. The breakup wasn't that long though, as a new bassplayer was brought in; Anton Swedberg. From that point the band started to play live gigs and wrote more outgoing songs, like Heavy Traffic, with Anton as lead singer.
The band played on and did some pretty okay gigs with fine feedback, but something was missing. They got stuck in some kind of vacuum in 2006 where they did pretty much nothing. The guitarist and friend Peter started to play with the band in mid 2006 and that brought a new spirit to the band.
The Whorehouse rockers are currently rehearsing for gigs and recording their new songs.
