CHASE has always been involved in the music industry, learning about the business from notable producers, music promoters, artists and heads of record labels. Chase, as he soon became known as throughout the music industry, ventured out to work on his true passion which was to become involved in the entertainment business. While still working as a broker CHASE began to work under the auspices of Mr. Terrell Harris, founder of Raw Dope Entertainment, a leading production company based out of Chicago. When Mr. Harris started his own record label Music Affiliated, he hired Chase to be his assistant. CHASE finally got a hand on view on the intricacies of running a recording label, and afterwards decided it was time to begin his own venture.
In 2005 CHASE started Kros-Over Records and Production Company with offices in three locations, Chicago (the labels headquarters), NYC, and Puerto Rico. His vision is to make Kros-Over into the “first official record label in the mid-westâ€. With Chicago being one of the leading sales markets in the recording industry he feels that now is the time for the mid-west to have a record label of its own. His Latin division which is based out of Puerto Rico will focus mainly on reggaeton, a Latin form of hip-hop music which has proven to be very profitable. With his Chicago based hip-hop and R&B artists that are already signed to his label, Chase is looking to have major crossover success with Kros-Over Records.
