Most people who meet me are surprised at my background and at my age. Firstly I grew up in a tiny little town called Hope, Alaska. It has a population, then & now, of about 150 people year around. When I became of school age the school had been closed down for many years and my parents were the driving force which got the school reopened. I didn't go to a traditional school until second grade, before then it was 'Home schooled'. In Hope I littleraly went to a 'one room, red school house'. I had the same teacher day in and day out and for the first couple of years we had a total of 8 students ranging from grades K-10. If you wanted to continue your edumakshun past your sophmore year you had to either go on corespondence (home school) or board with a family and attend another school. I did the later of the two.
I graduated high school in Soldotna and from there went to AVTEC vocational school the following year to graduate as a cook. AVTEC is where I meet my ex-wife. We had two kids and our relationship ended 8 years after. At the time I lived in Ninilchik where I was employed by the Ninilchik Traditional Council as a BIAC Programs Manager. Living there and being divorced gave me a lot of free time. My entertainment when I lived there was skiing, hiking and biking. At one time I would ski 12 miles every day, during that time I was such good shape people would ask if I was on something when I'd go out dancing.
This brings me to the gay thing, yes I knew, but what I knew of someone who was gay was what I watched on T.V. which was usually the butt end of a joke and lisped heavinly. Since I never thought I was the butt end of a joke and lisping isn't my thang I didn't associate myself as gay. It wasn't untill after my divorce that I felt the strength to explore my desires and needs.
My employment has been diverse over the yearse and I think that I've found something that I can sink my teeth into. I currently am a Licensed Skin Care Therapist (Esthetician) and work at LA Style & Spa and I am co-owner of a new salon called "Preview". Since my graduation at Esthetics school I opened the salon in just over a year of my graduation. It has become my obsession and I'm almost always working on some sort of marketing, brochure, mailing, website, etc. I really enjoy what I do.
This should be required watching of all guyz. Enjoy, maybe you'll get a new technique, I did.
