City Theater Associates, Inc. is a non-profit organization, housed at City Theater in Biddeford, Maine. Its mission is to foster an appreciation for the performing arts by using creative avenues to increase community involvement.This non-profit is committed to establishing City Theater as a year-round performing arts center by presenting itself as both a producing entity for community theater performances, and a rental facility for various forms of entertainment. Innovative educational programs are designed to promote a working relationship with area schools; altruistic organizations and previously uninvolved segments of the population are targeted by outreach programs.Proceeds are used to fund ongoing and newly-developed programs in all areas of the performing arts and contribute toward the preservation and restoration of this historical landmark.City theater has thrived in the Biddeford community for over a century, and we are proud to still be an active part of its culture.
