I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and raised primarily by my grandparents William and Rosetta Smith. In 1988, I was baptized and received the gift of the Holyspirit shortly there after. In 1995, I felt the Lord calling me to preach the gospel. As many people do, I ignored the call thinking that God would never use a person who had low self-esteem, a fear of people and poor communication skills. A year later, God sent me to New Beginning Ministries International, where God used my pastor, Bishop J. Laverne Tyson and his wife Linda, to pull me out of a life of self destruction and into a life of freedom. From there I went from ignoring my call to embracing it with much gratitude. In July 2005, God opened the door for me to become a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel. God has blessed me with various gifts to help advance the kingdom of God and bring others into a life of deliverance. Currently, I serve as co pastor of Destiny Christian Tabernacle with my husband Pastor Bruce Miller; and for my home church, New Beginning Ministries, I serve as Director of the Women's Ministries and personal assistant to the Executive Pastor, Wanda Rivers.
