Okay well here we go: My name is Nancy (Cowart) Maddox, I'm originally from the small town of Collinsville Alabama and graduated from there in 1996 .I have been married 9 years May 22nd to my wonderful husband and best friend Reverend Jonathan Maddox , who is and will forever be the love of my life. I thank God every day for bringing us together.We live in Piedmont Alabama where he is Pastor at one of our local country churches -Shady Grove .I'm passionate, ambitious, adventures and imaginative. I value every day I get to spend here and I know that I can be anything I want to be with hard work and courage. I'm grateful for every opportunity that I have been given and donâ€™t have any intention of wasting them. I know the people we surround ourselves with reflect who we are deep inside and our friends are our family which is why I thank god everyday for bringing me people who inspire me and believe that I can do anything I put my mind too. My goal in life is too be successful in whatever I choose too be, most importantly though it's too make the world a better place than what it was when I got here, otherwise there's not much point to all the rest if I cant help make at least one persons life a little easier.... "It's not enough to just want to succeed in this world you also need to have the desire and the courage to change it" . When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I am saved" I'm whispering "I get lost!" "That is why I chose this way." When I say..."I am a Christian" don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need someone to be my guide. When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on. When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and cannot ever pay the debt. When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect, my flaws are too visible but God believes I'm worth it. When I say..."I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain I have my share of heartaches which is why I seek His name. When I say..."I am a Christian" I do not wish to judge. I have no authority. Too many to name - if you honestly want to know ... then I guess I'll be getting a e-mail from you :)But , to get you started , love being involved with my church family and church activities. I enjoy sports - would rather be participating than watching , but I do enjoy watching the Braves and Colts play ball on tv.I also enjoy when the opportunity arises to get away for a few days and relax in the mountains or just strolling along the sandy beaches soaking up the sunshine.
