Dj Janux... the name comes from 'Janus'... a mythical Roman god who has two faces... one dark, one light - one looking into the past, one looking into the future. Janux plays strong twilight music, and powerful morning sound. A Dj who plays the correct style for the correct time and place. His roots in music started in the mid 80's in Goa where he was a kid growing up in the early roots of the trance scene. He has been playing since year 2000, but before that studied the saxaphone and was also in a jazz percussion band. He has been going to goa almost every season since he was 7 years old... and to trance parties and festivals all over the world, so is slowly developing the perfect balance of psychedelic dance music.
I am from everywhere and also from no where. Moved around so much and been a part of so many different scenes & lifestyles that all i can say is that i'm from this planet. Lived in 3 different continents and been to over 25 countries... and mostly having a blaast meeting other people from this world. Spent most of my time in NYC, Bombay, London, Denmark, Goa.
I work for Blue Frog. A venue for Live music + a music production studio + independant Record label: I am the event coordinator, and am involved in bringing foriegn musicians to India, and pushing Indian musicians to other countries. Also did a lot of Work in film production... and am deep into the Psy scene... I run a dj Label (sound species) a collective of DJs.
