Hi, I'm Andrea "BOTTA" Bottaro an Italian bass player, I was born in Savona, a little town in the north west of Italy, I started playing the bass guitar and studying music at the age of 15 with Mauro Isetti, a rock bass player. After three years of study with him, I realized that I wanted to change teacher to reach a musical diploma, so I moved to Milan where I studied in C.P.M college of music, with the Italian bass legend Dino D'Autorio. I like all kind of music but my favourite one is reggae. From 2002 I play with my best friend, singer and songwriter Raphael Nkereuwem in one of the most important emerging reggae band in Italy: the Eazy Skankers, with this band we make many gigs every year. I also play in other bands, from rock to jazz, I usually play with the jazz piano player and composer Tommaso Delfino. I give vent to my rock instinct playing with a Rock cover band in Milan, and I dance playing with the Midnight Ravers, the official Bob Marley tribute. I think that in music it is important to have many contacts and new collaborations with musicians dj's, ecc…; so write to me, I could be your bass player…
