All About The Dots

About Me

All About the Dots is a four piece band from Glasgow.
Dreamed up at a party, us Dots (Elaine, Mags, Jo and Jacqui) had our first practice - and brush with musical instruments - just before Christmas 06.
We practised hard, wrote some rockin tunes and played our debut gig to a full house at Nice n Sleazy's on the 27th of July. It was an amazing night.
Since then we've won an XFM uploaded contest, had air play on Jim Gellatly’s X-Posure radio show, been plugged by a tipster on Radio 1 and have really loved recording in the studio and playing live in venues such as Box, The Beat Club, The Admiral, Classic Grand and Oran Mor. We've also been written about in The News of the World and The Scotsman, who said we're "A bandwagon worth jumping on early”.
Recently we won the Fury’s King of Bands competition (changing the contest’s name to Queen of Bands) and played in a Live at Loch Lomond festival showcase.
This year really is set to be an exciting one - hope to see you at a gig soon!
