About Me

I've been hearing music since embryo. My father listened to lots of music and always at loud volumes. The elders in my family played instruments - - fiddles and mandolins. I grew up around a piano. Now I play bass primarily. I like it pretty heavy I got to admit, nothing too bashing, as some of my friends will take it, but good heavy music in particular, kiddies, talkin' 'bout it. Blues, too. But, rock is blues stretched out and blown up to cosmic size, ain't tit? At least since Zeppelin and Sabbath had their go of it. Everyone else is either before or after, really. Talking Rock. So if rock were a brand of sweet and crunchy cereal or another bullshit insurance agency trying to take Old Fattie in America to the cleaners it would read, Rock - it's the truth. Mmm, sweet too! And then the freckled kids pops his fat head up and shouts, "And crunchy!" Truth, that's a really great Jeff Beck record by the way. Three chords and the truth, rock music. It's big and beautiful and the galaxies will forever resound with the brilliant shimmer of rock's greatest treasures because God is in the riffs. Buy more rock records. They're out there. You will make the world a brighter place. If I ever get a band and have members I will put their names in this box, thanks!
