I am a talmidah to my Rabbi, Jesus.
A Talmidah is a disciple, student. The relationship between a talmidim and there rabbi is very close: not only did the talmidim learn facts, reasoning processes and how to perform religious practices from there Rabbi, but they regarded him as an example to be imitated in conduct and character. The Rabbi, in turn, was considered responsible for his talmidim.
