Steffie/Doxy Crux

I do not accept friend invites from people I do not know in real life. If we have never met, OR we have no intention of ever meeting...then do not request me please. If you have to wonder if I like you or not then that probably means not.
I am a very busy person. WAY too busy for my own good.
When I am not busy molding Steffie Jr. into the perfect Mini-me, I find myself strategically reviewing my never-ending list of "Things to Do". I think I spend more time organizing my lists than I do actually accomplishing the tasks.
I am the Cook's Tour 2008 Co-Chair for the Junior League of Tacoma. This is fun. I partner up with Sheranna and a few other girls on my committee and PLAN A TOUR OF 5 HOUSES IN TACOMA ..... WITH CHEFS!!. How damn fun is that?!?! I don't think I could ask for a better social outlet than the Junior League. On top of all that, we give back to the community through volunteerism. I am going to Heaven. I just know it.
My friend Melissa and I have recently co-founded the Tacoma Beer Society........we like beer......we drink beer....we taste beer......we talk about beer........this should be fun!!!
As another, more physical, yet just as socially fulfilling outlet, I am a part of Tacoma's very own Dockyard Derby Dames. I am Doxy Crux of the Femme Fianna's. These girls are hardcore and I love every ounce of them.
During the summer (and sometimes the winter) I develop an intense obsession with the Dave Matthews Band. Yes. One might call us "groupies". I would rather you didn't. I have a fantastic group of friends from all around the USA and Canada, that we see mulitple times a year as friends & I travel to various venues in search of the perfect live DMB show. It's indescribable the memories, friends, and feelings that we derive from our summers as we follow this terrific band through their summer tour.
Oh yeah. I own an embroidery business. It is somewhat growing. I probably shouldn't, but I put the business as a lower priority than the above mentioned social activites. Customers & clients just kinda fall into my lap. If I tried a little harder & put a little more effort into marketing & such, I'm pretty confident I could make it work. Hmmmm....I'll have to ponder that one. If I have time. I mean, DMB 2007 summer tour is coming up....
Live entertainment. *sigh* I love me some live music. I have to control myself by limiting the shows I see to a couple a month. Sometimes 4. OK, no more than 4. Hey, I DO have a kid and all. I DO have priorities. Don't I?
With all of these fun activities that keep me running, I am usually joined by my biggest partners in crime: Gayle, Jessica, the KAke and Banditobetty. Good times.
