Standing slightly yet comfortingly away from the centres of Fallowfield and Withington, the Ladybarn is the big red pub on the corner of Mauldeth Rd and Ladybarn Lane. Laid back and louche in the afternoons, have a coffee on a Chesterfield, order some fabulous food at the bar, sun yourself in the beer garden, and listen to your/our favourite songs on the jukebox. When the sun goes down and the freakshow barstaff wake up, you can be served, secured, enticed and entertained by an assortment of genuinely mad bastards, Manchester's best DJs and bands, a handful of unwilling celebrity lookalikes, and more than a few groupies, throwbacks, pirates, and international recording artists who got lost on their way somewhere else but don't really care.
