About Me
Her name is Valeria Gonzales; she’s a 20 year old Latina, and a graduate from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio Texas. Valeria began singing and dancing at the age of five. “Ever since I can remember I’ve been given opportunities to perform in many different places†Valeria said. At the age of 7 Valeria performed for a small period of time on The Caribbean Cruise Ship to Mexico then again at the age of 9 she performed on the Carnival Cruise Ship to the Bahamas. Valeria has been involved in theater, which includes performances in Cats, Grease, Annie, and Westside Story. Valeria’s singing and dancing experiences have aloud her to perform at many major cities like Los Angeles, Washington D.C, and Los Vegas. Valeria was given an opportunity to perform at the Nickelodeon Studio’s in Florida; one special performance she remembers as a child was being cast as Dorothy in Liberal Kansas for the Wizard of Oz Festival which included some of the original surviving cast members.At the age of 12 Valeria join The Network for Young Artist in San Antonio Texas, (N.Y.A), A non-profit organization that teaches kids from the age of 4 to 20 who want to learn how perform, sing, dance, or play and instrument. This organization teaches leadership, stage presents, vocal technique, basically everything an artist needs to know about stage performances plus it promotes staying in school and leadership by example. Here at N.Y.A Valeria was able to expand her talents by performing at over 150 events per year such as Market Square, The Radisson Hill Country Resort, and St. Mary’s Oyster Bake. At the age of 14 Valeria began performing with Pasty Torres, (A Tejano Super Star), with the Positive force tour. This program focused on informing students about the hazards of dugs, alcohol, and gangs while entertaining with music and dance. At the same time Valeria was a member of a dance group called Urban Assault and had the opportunity to perform at the Jagged Edge, Lil bow Wow Concert in 2004, in July 2005 she performed as a special guest for the Miss Latina World Pageant, this gave her a chance to see how she can measure up to the presser of a professional level performance on a world wide stage. In 2007 Valeria performed for Red McCombs and his Auto Dealer Ships, Oyster Bake and several Fiesta Events, The Houston Street Fair, Café Latino, (a local San Antonio Restaurant) In 2008 Valeria performed as a special guest for the Pocket Communications Next Big Star Promotion, The 2008 Final 4 Concert and The 94.1 KTFM Rewind Block Party. Symmetric Sound Productions is proud to be working with Valeria, She is currently in the studio working on her first Album, The music is being written and produced by Mr. Danny Patino of Symmetric Sound Productions and will consist a mix of pop, rock and alternative.“Valeria is a beautiful creative and talented Latina she is an all around performer with a very captivating voice†said Mr. Patino.
