Born in a small town in Indiana by the given name Anthony Moise, Nyce is an artist unlike most of the artist out there today. Having been into music since the day he was born, Nyce has a love for music that goes way beyond the stereotypical celebrity materialistic desirers. Since the first grade, Nyce has been performing and moving crowds with his monstrous stage presence, witty lyrics, and stylish dance moves. After several years of performing and song writing, at the age of 18 Nyce decided to join the U.S Marines which allowed him to escape from his small town and see the world. While in the Marines Nyce joined with four other artists, who were Marines as well, to form the group named “The Professionalz.” Nyce and the Professionalz have performed as a group and as solo acts in several countries around the world. “Some people try to start out with a home-town fan base, I like to think a little bigger than that”, Nyce says. Nyce’s style of music is derived from many different artist and genres. “Creativity, originality, and consistency are what I think are necessities for an artist to make it these days, says Nyce, Where are the creative minds in the new millennium?” Not only an artist, Nyce has produced many tracks for several artists including himself. Having been influenced by some of the best producers out now such as Kanye West, N.E.R.D, and Will Am I, Nyce puts thought into every beat composed to take it way past the level of a simple looped pattern. Nyce continues to produce and perform throughout the world and doing so currently resides in Abu Dhabi, UAE. “I mean honestly, there are a million people in the states who want to be artist, I have a better chance building a fan base overseas, and then attacking the U.S”, Nyce says. Nyce’s style, swagger, and originality will be what allows him to usher the world into the much needed new era of music.
