Born Joshua Andrew Scott on September 1st 1980 at Shady-Side Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA to parents John Randolph Scott and Lorraine Theresa Scott also Josh had one older sister Erica Lynn Scott. He grew up in his Grandmothers house in East Hills, PA with his family until the age of three when his Mother and his Father decided to get a divorce. The divorce and custody battle, were painful for Josh and his sister. At the age of five nearly six, his mother met a humble contractor Glenn Reis which whom she would later marry and move to Penn Hills, PA with her children Erica and Josh. Moving into third grade and switching schools wasn’t easy but comforting at the same time considering the move into a bigger house.
A new life was ahead meeting new people and friends. With no big surprise as spelling being Josh’s more excelling subjects in school, it was his favorite because he had the opportunity to explore and extensive vocabulary which you now know, would come to use later in life. At the age of twelve, Josh wrote his first rap verse resulting from an altercation he had with a schoolmate earlier that day. That was the beginning of one of the hardest working emcees of this present day. That year his brother Adam was born and following a few years later, as was his brother Brian. Shortly after that were the births of his brother Tyler and sister Amanda being two years apart and two years later.All through High School, Josh had written four complete tablets of lyrics but none ever recited aloud because of lack of money and studio equipment. At seventeen while working at Sears Home Improvements as a tele-marketer, Josh met a co-worker named Dan Bose. Dan claimed to be able to compose instrumentals which was a blessing for Josh because he had never rapped over a beat before. So after gaining trust between the two men, Josh took a loan out for eight thousand dollars to buy studio equipment shortly after making his first demo with Bose and a mutual friend Daryl Rankin. This demo was made at “Hometown Records†and it consisted of a group D.I.M. which stood for Detonate (Dan Bose), Invisible (Josh Scott) and Murda Mouse (Daryl Rankin). Being introduced to the neighborhood, Josh met several emcees with the same interests. One of these emcees would later become his best friend whom was Daniel Thompson also known as Anymal.At nineteen while still working at Sears, Josh met his supervisors daughter named ----- ------ who he would later marry in 2003 on January 25th. On June 14th 2003, his beautiful daughter Katarina Nikole Scott was born. Being completely broke, Josh had to sell his recording equipment to be able to afford his family. That was the absolute most painful experience for Josh until the discovery of his wife committing adultery in late 2003. Trying to make things work, Josh had given ----- a second Chance which would be ruined a short five months later in April 2004. In June 2004, ----- had given primary parental rights to Josh so she could live the life style she had wanted instead. The divorce was in progress and Josh had gained primary custody of Katarina. Being a single Father until November of 2006, Josh met Samantha Abaray who he would later move in with and start rebuilding a family oriented environment for himself and his daughter. On February 1st, 2008, Josh proposed to Samantha.So after engaging in Hip-Hop for nearly fourteen years and performing in over forty shows. Self-confidence and support from his friend Dan Thompson had made him decided to take it to the next level and full-fill his long awaited dream of being a national recording artist and be, what he feels he was meant to be. February of 2008 is his chance to prove himself to the world that he deserves to be recognized for his hard work and determination of striving to be great at his God given talent of being poetic in a up-beat, hip-hop fashion.
