Dissatisfied with the fact that the words Music, Art, and Love have been cheapened. We decided to add our own small verse to the enormous and seamlessly never ending Playwright of Life. Day 13 was official formed on Fri ”The 13th” Oct of 2006 and existed till Fri “The 13th” July of 2007. How ironic is that?! Our Motto “To die would be a pleasure, to live an honor” means, that it is one thing to die for what you believe in, but to live and to be able to serve for that purpose while we are here on earth, is the gift of life. We spent our short lived moment in time as a band defending the arts, and the right to have a musically different prospective than the main stream. We felt compelled to give the world yet another view of music. We are all still serving that purpose presently in our other endeavors. Since we are all still struggling to fight the fight for the arts and the right to be individual forms of expression through music, we are leaving this space up. As I(BULL, Aaron Smith) get closer to building a studio, then I will bring everyone together to record these songs and market them so our efforts will never lie to waste. Someone out there will love to put our stuff to a movie soundtrack, or even a video game, or could possible be used as a theme song. Now that I have the songs copyrighted I’m going to leave the one up that is recorded and set it up so people can download it for some change. The funds will then go towards all of our individual efforts. The key here is to help the arts and music scene in the area. We are all here to further hope for other bands here in Southern Maryland, and the further we get out there, then the more other artists will realize that it is possible to achieve, and they will be inspired to not give up or give in.
