About Me
Back in 1995 Hurtlock formed as a Lindenhurst based hardcore band. We were young teenage misfits who wanted to have a good time with good friends. Almost every weekend was a party at the Fitzgerald house with the Lindy high school local hardcore and punk bands. We were all about friendship, respect, and unity. It wasn't cool to go to shows and listen to hardcore/punk/oi/ska etc., At that time Lindy was overun by guidos, jocks, and fake thugs which if you weren't one of them you were an outcast. The Lindy youth banded together and formed bands such as Hurtlock, Respect Is Lost, Negative Influence, Ill Humor, etc., It was memorable times of unity, rebellion, and angst. We did a host of really good shows and shitty shows but always united Lindy youth with sing alongs and pile ons. Good friends Good times We'll never forget. Members of the band went on to either join or form the following bands: Blood Lots of Blood, Southpaw, Forklift Driver, Screwhead, Organ Donor Card, Arkham, Shallows of the Mundane, Last Picked At Dodgeball, Tension*, Hated, A-Life, Take My Chances, Black 6, Heads vs. Breakers, The Brooklyn Symphany of Shit
