Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Glen Mac lived in both the U.S. and Germany growing up. After graduating from high school, he permanently moved to the U.S. from Frankfurt, Germany. After attending the University of Houston and living in Houston for a few years, Glen decided to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Since arriving in L.A., he's acted in television specials for the History and TLC channels. Last summer, he appeared in a national commercial spot for Arby's with Nascar pro driver, Matt Kenseth. He's also performed in music videos for Leela James, American Idol, Matt Hammel and recently finished a video for Celine Dion's current "Taking Chances" world tour and hip-hop star T.I.'s Paper Trail album.
Beginning 2008 with promise, the feature film, "A Simple Promise," an official selection of both the LA Femme Film Festival International and the San Diego Black Film Festival, was released on DVD May 27 to online and retail outlets. Glen has also completed filming the feature, "Sugar Boxx," a tongue-in-cheek look at a 70s genre, which will be released in 2009. He also completed filming a commercial for an Italian engergy company. His last project for 2008 was a comedy pilot entitled "Is This It?" in which he played the lead character.
In 2009, after the SAG/AMPTP negotiations are concluded, he will join an all-star cast in a positive, non-stereotypical and really funny urban-themed comedy entitled "Pawnshop."
