Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

About Me

A few years ago, I moved back to my hometown, Hazleton, after living in South-central PA for almost 2 years. I know, I'm completely nutters for moving back here - maybe I can escape again sometime.
Recently, I moved in with my father, to get him out of a nursing home. He can no longer live alone, so the only way for him to be home was for me to help take care of him.My kitty, Grizzabella will be moving in soon - right now, she's staying with my mother and Maggie May .
I have very eclectic taste, especially when it comes to music. I love NIN, but also love Clay Aiken and Enya. I can listen to hard rock/heavy metal or punk one minute and soft rock or *gasp* country music the next.
I also love a good road-trip and with the lowering cost of fuel, it's easier to just jump in the car and drive off to wherever I want...anyone want to join me?

I opened a CafePress shop. I'll be adding new stuff all the time, so keep checking back:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Interesting, fun people...someone to help make life in Hell Hazleton, a little better.

I can't wait for tomorrow to be over.

Is anyone else sick and tired of the 24/7 coverage of Obama's inauguration? Yes, it's a historic event, but come on...enough already! You can't turn the TV on without hearing about this grand event....

Food Poisoning Sucks!

I went to NY, to see Spamalot. The show was excellent and the trip was great, until we hit the ice-storm, on the way home, but that was nothing compared to things to come. This morning I woke up feeli...

Birth and Death

As I watched the local news, a picture of a handsome young man was flashed on the screen followed by the words "17 year old Carl Smith, of Hazleton, drowned in the Lehigh River." My heart sank. When I...
