ghynton took off in the late 90's as a computer based one-man electronica project influenced by artists like FSOL, aphex twin, hab, u-ziq and tortoise.
Now, ten years later, the fundamental idea of what I try to accomplish is somewhat the same. My aim is to combine electronics and acoustics into organic soundscapes. Trend: The later recording, the less synthetic sources of sound.
About the tracks:
The Love of Hannah Teter Just me and my lovely Epiphone guitar killing the pain of a lonely night.
Animi Ante Mig Slow dub. Kind of like Ernest Ranglin moving to Twin Peaks. But actually it's just another song about the elk in "Gammelälgen".
Gammelälgen Prelude for a planned EP influenced by overwhelming experiences and unity of nature. Natural high yeah!
Count them and dismiss, from the third demo recording, was appointed "Demo of the week" in Swedish national radio's dance broadcasting in 1999. I'm very proud and I still love the tune!
