I am currently fulfilling my Kraut fetish in the land of Braatwurst and beer festivals.I don't know much about my ethnic background but a grandfather I never met who died in 1959 was conveniently born in Dublin, entitling me to Irish citizenship. Here in Germany I get mistaken for a local with my blonde hair and blue eyes.I am doing a 6 month Praktikum (internship) at EADS Astrium in Bremen, working in the area of spacecraft Thermal Protection Systems.My friends have been very patient with me heading overseas to spend fairly large amounts of time in random countries. I love travelling and meeting cool new people (even including "so-called Germans")I rate myself even money to be the first person on Mars, (the ultimate tourist destination) but things that side track me from that ambition include alcohol and blenders (especially in combination).I love flying, (even the 24 hours to get to Germany) hence my choice of uni course. One day i will be a famous engineer/astronaut. I know you dont believe me, but i will prove you wrong.If I wasn't studying Aerospace i would choose Journalism because I love reading, writing and photography.I can be smart in school but dumb in life. I almost have a degree in Aerospace Engineering but I still can't figure out the German recycling system.Anyone who wishes to visit me in Europe is welcome to free accommodation.
