Other Stuff
I operate primarily out of Jimmy Barnes' Freight Train Studio’s in Sydney. Which I also run. When I am not working on music, I like listening to a mix of Kyuss, Unkle, The Black Crowes, Aqualung, the Cult, PJ Harvey, Cog, Soundgarden, Air, Bettie Davis, Centipede, The Silversun Pickups, By Devine Right, David Bowie, Iron & Wine, QOTSA, David Usher, The hallacopters, Poxy Music, Tom Waits, Death Cab for Cutie, Bill Wither’s, Hermano, The Police, anything Marius Devries remixes, Magic Dirt, Drive-By Truckers, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Pixies, Radiohead, Deftones, Tipper, Further, the cassette kids, and a random selection of recordings that Jamie Edwin Thomas sang on !
I also do lots of mixing in my own studio, based around Pro Tools HD & a mix of custom built & classic analogue gear. I'm happy to work on any song that I feel I can do justice, and have proven able to jump onboard at any stage of the production process. Transforming homestyle demo recordings into polished single mixes is one of my personal favourites.
