About Me

Hi! I have been writing for the record collectors magazine Goldmine since 1991 (a stint that recently came to an end). During that time, I have written a couple hundred cd reviews. I've also interviewed some of my musical heroes, including Lou Christie, The Velvelettes' Cal Gill Street, former Temptations' lead singer Dennis Edwards, The Supremes' Cindy Birdsong, Three Dog Night's Chuck Negron, Barbara Lewis, The Four Tops' Duke Fakir, Lynn Anderson, and The Dells' Chuck Barksdale, Marvin Junior, and Michael McGill (see my blog section for copies of these). If you are into reading or writing about and/or listening to music, please drop me a line. The corgi-pomeranian mix in the default picture is Fred, who came to live with me on July 4, 2008. The beagle in the picture archives was named Evander. He died on April 19, 2008 and will be forever missed.
