KINFOLK CHAMP A.K.A. "MR AKAT MAN" BIOGRAPHY. On June 17, 1975 at Jefferson Hospital in Houston, TX. The 1st child of Martha Williams and Truman Carvelle was born Shermaine O' Keith Williams. At only 3 months old his grandpa, Robert Williams who is now deceased noticed he would keep his fist balled up, and it reminded him of a boxer. So his granfather gave him the nickname Champ. Champ grew up on the souhtside of town. There he and his sister Trumeka Clavelle were raised by their mother and grandmother's Cassie Cooper and Jessie Jackson. In the past times he hung out with his cousins and played football. At the age of 9 he joined a little leage team called the "Riversid Cowboys". In southpark. Champs love for football took him all the way through middle school & in highschool where he attended James Madison High. Champ became one of the best running backs in the Houston Highscool division. Champ was so gifted he was a Blue Chipper for the 1st three years and broke a 10 year standing record in which he rushed 1000 plus yards in a single season. Due to unfortunate events Champ didn't go on to college. So after that the streets became his hustle. In the summer of 1999 one of his cousins $tack$ John$on A. K. A. Poppa doc started Ballatician Entertainment. When the labels' 1st album dropped he knew it was official. Champ often reminds himself."In the beginning I was not a rapper, but just a conasur of music but being in the music enviroment I started toning my rap skill sharpening my craft and develpoing as a true artist." Track made his debut on a track called Parkin Lot Boppa featured on the "Right Now album" one of the many projects Ballatician Entertainment produced. Champ also hit the streets with his Ballatician family on a mixtape called, "Stay Bent Vol.I". Champ has been on tour with such artist as Yung Jeezy, Shawna, Juvenile , Ric RoSS... Who can deny a phenomenon this gigantic. Kinfolk Champ definetly lives up to his name.
