About Me

So, I had this idea for a service I think a lot of people could use. Someone you could hire to do the dirty work of breaking off a relationship that isn't working. Of course, I gave this idea to a fictional heroine, Chloe Flynt who calls herself The Break Up Artist. The book is out this month from Kensington Brava and it's been getting great reviews, I'm happy to report. My mother says it's my best book yet! And don't be thinking she's one of those moms who think everything I do is great. She is my toughest critic. In other news, I ran two 10K fun runs in the last month, and helped raise money for literacy and alzheimer's. I'd post a photo of me at the finish line, but really, trust me, I look terrific. Hardly look sweaty and half dead at all.I've posted some upcoming events on my website at http://www.nancywarren.net. I'll be in San Francisco at the end of July for RWA's annual convention and I'm giving a workshop with my wonderful, funny friend Holly Jacobs on Saturday morning. If you're going to be there, drop by.

Writing in the sunshine

Today I wrote in the sunshine. Oh, it was nice. I have a bad habit of getting carried away, though. I forget I'm outside. I'm in whatever setting my book is in, and after a couple of hours I realized ...

What our books say about us

I have a friend, Kate, who lives a very different life than I do. She's happily single with an easy care lifestyle I admit I occasionally envy. But I turn bright, scary, scaly green when I walk into h...

When the going gets tough...

Sometimes, all you can do is pack your bags and head for the sunshine. After seven fun filled days and nights of noisy fans and damp, dusty air blowing through the house, me and my bronchitis had had ...

There's another Nancy in my life.

Actually, there are a couple of special Nancys in my life right now. There's Nancy Warren who writes to me when 'our' name is out there, and who, I think, was never a romance fan until she discovered ...

Then life gets in the way!

So I had so many good intentions to keep updates going on the Daytona trip and I got home and my water tank committed suicide. Very. Messy. Suicide by drowning. I had no idea that thirty gallons of wa...

Datyona Speed Weeks Day 1

You all down here for the race? I swear that is the single sentence I have heard the most today! I arrived in Daytona late last night, and went for dinner with my NASCAR series editor, Marsha Zinberg....
