About Me

Rock'n'Roll and Swing Dancing is wild and spontaneous yet always controlled. My emphasis is technique (the particular method or practice of attaining skill). We will work with my techniques but always the lessons will be a fun step-by-step method in obtaining the necessary skills and easy for everyone to achieve. We will never however lose a sense of spontaneity and wildness that is Rock'n'Roll and Swing Dancing.www.sebastians.com.au

The Andrew Sisters' music and songs played on the radio to give joy to the allied soldiers of World War II. We will teach you to spin and whirl, gyrating smoothly to the sophisticated and sassy sounds of Peggy Lee, Glen Miller and alike. 1950's - 1960's STYLE Rock'n'Roll, Jive, Rockabilly Elvis Presley stormed America, Buddy Holly followed suit. Rock Around The Clock featuring Bill Haley and his Comets was the huge forerunner of many dance movies with a new beat, for example, Dirty Dancing and Grease. We'll teach you to change the mood to a more raunchy boppy rock'n'roll tempo of the fifties and sixties with the sounds of Bill Haley, Little Richard and alike.www.sebastians.com.au
