Terry comes from a family of cooks,his dad a chef in the army,his mum was a good pastry cook,so naturaly grew up around cooking.At the age of 17 terry got a job in smithfield meat market and learnt his trade in all aspects of butcherie.After a long period in the market and many changes within smeathfield terry decided to leave the place he spent his time in ,man and boy.In 1982 Terry opened what is now known as Terrys cafe(formaly The hamelet cafe)using his knowledge of cooking and butchering skills is able to produce some wonderfull home cooked food.Terry still buys all his meat out off smithfield and all fresh produce comes out of the borough market.So come along pop in with a cup of tea still priced at 20p (it was 20p in 1982) what are you waiting for,Best of luck,Terry.(Bands,music industry that we do not know personaly will be denied,if you are a current customer please leave a brief message,thanks)
