About Me

Tony Spangler is a singer-songwriter from the Kansas City area.In the late eighties and early nineties he fronted various rock 'n' roll bands. His music was played on local radio stations and he has been interviewed by Kansas City's 98.9 the Rock multiple times.While with the band SAVOIR FAIRE he recorded and released the songs "Leave Me Alone" & "Mosquito" for the INFERNO ROCK COLLECTION, Volumes 1 & 3, compilation CD’s of the markets top acts.Tony's “LIGHTING RODS” project ’97-’98 was formed with guitarist Mike Freeland and included TICKLESTICK band members Ed Munkers (bass) & Craig Rapheal (drums). It featured Tony singing; playing guitar, bass solos, drums & keyboards on various songs. Recorded as a demo it contains raw versions of the songs “He Said He Was God”, “Time”, “La’s”, “Sunday”, “Note to Dad”, and the industrial rock track “Don’t Die”.Tony is currently solo and working on new material due out in 2009-2010.
