Maurice “Ambition-1†Williams has shared a passion for writing with a blood born inner entrepreneurial spirit throughout his entire 23 years of life. At a very young age Maurice began to assume leadership roles in academics, sports, and various clubs. Throughout his young life Maurice excelled in sports which included basketball, football, wrestling, and weight lifting.
At age 12 Maurice started a small neighborhood landscaping service which he operated until the age of 19. In the three years immediately following high school Maurice lost his way in life and found his aspirations come to a complete stand still as he associated with individuals whose only purpose in life was to waste precious time. Those three years though wasteful have proven to be the key factors to Maurice’s reemergence as a more passionate, goal oriented, and focused individual. In just the past year Maurice has re-enrolled in college, successfully launched a website, and began laying the groundwork for a media company he co-owns.
In July 2007 Maurice began studying Business Management and Accounting at Brown Mackie College in Louisville, KY with a set in stone goal to continue his education until he receives a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing. With his degrees Maurice aspires to conquer the world of business on a national as well as global level.
Maurice’s website www.rapaveli.com is devoted to several aspects of hip hop culture and the interpretation of the lifestyle surrounding the music. So far in nine months Maurice has managed to write over 70,000 words of content for his one hundred percent self operated blog. Rapaveli.com is currently undergoing a complete overhaul in order to make the site more competitive and marketable across a broader spectrum of topics ranging from music critiques, downloads, fashion, video games, and even politics. With the help of DN Zoom and Louisville VP rapaveli.com will cross over into a more appealing format before the beginning of summer in 2008.
In January of 2008 Maurice Williams along with his business partner Antonio Duncan launched a next generation media company called i4i Media. Using his prior and newfound business knowledge Maurice has been able to lay a solid foundation for what will become one of Louisville’s prime competitors in areas ranging from publishing, advertising, design, music, fashion, and lifestyle. So far in 2008 i4i Media has successfully released two music CDs entitled “Step Into The Bad Side Volume 1†and “Step Into The Bad Side Volume 2.†Both have received massive critical acclaim and have built a solid reputation for the young company.
As of current Maurice is working on his debut book “Who Said I Had To Be Rich To Show You Success?†as well as studying to become an NSCA Certified personal trainer. After these goals are accomplished Maurice plans to promote his books through motivational public speaking. Before the end of 2008 Maurice plans to operate four fully functioning websites which include rapaveli.com, i4imedia.com, theplug-n.com, and an unnamed fitness and lifestyle site. 2009 promises to be an even bigger year for Maurice as he and Antonio Duncan are completing details surrounding the launch of Louisville, KY’s premier multi-genre music magazine, The Plug-N. Maurice thinks of himself as an individual whose ambition far exceeds his talent and intellect.
