He also had radio programs, fanzines and two fashion Labels. His DJ skills going to different ways along the years, discovering techno and electro ways together house music. This evolution culminates in 2000 when Ratier opened D.EDGE club in Campo Grande.
D.EDGE club is the main part of Renato Ratier music life. He lives in Campo Grande, in the Pantanal area in the center of the country, and there in 2000 he opened the first trendy club in the Brazilian countryside, D.EDGE. Three years after D.EDGE was stablished and a lot of international DJs have played there, Ratier opened the second D.EDGE club, now in São Paulo, the Brazilian cultural centre. D.EDGE São Paulo became the most important underground and sophisticated – at same time – club in Brazil. The lighting and sound system were developed specialy to the club by designer Muti Randolph. The club has figured in the most important magazines: Wallpaper, Frame, Interni, DJ Mag, Mixmag etc. Nowadays, the first D.EDGE in Campo Grande is closed and Ratier has a new club, Tozen, with an oriental organic design.
