Hey Ho!
Nice to meet you, how's life? I'm Marjo, 24 years old and from Finland. Currently living in Vantaa, but hoping to move back to Hellsinki soon again! Hopefully it'll happen sometime next spring.
Let's see, what do you need to know about me.. I finally found a new job, which I'm so far loving! It's interesting, I get to do different things every day and everyone's really nice, so I really am enjoying it. That also mean that I spend my weeks at work, I really don't feel like going anywhere during the week or I'll be way too tired on the next day. But on weekends I might actually be seen somewhere again. Now I just spend all my money on touring Sweden (and a bit of other countries too), so I try and stay at home while I'm in Finland. Though occasionally I might be spotted at some very unexpected clubs, or even at some gigs. I've been nagging and complaining about the lack of good gigs in Finland for ages, but now there's finally quite a few I wanna go and see, so feel free to come and say hi if you see me.
This brings us to music. I love music. And I really mean that I love it, I couldn't live without it. It really means the world to me! I love going to gigs, but unfortunately I'm quite picky with my music, so there are times when I can't find anything interesting enough to see. I (almost) never give a second chance to a band, if they don't impress me on the first time, then that's it. Some exceptions have been made though, with good results, so maybe I should try that a bit more often.
And then. There's music and there's Backyard Babies. They really are the love of my life, and it seems there's nothing I wouldn't do to get to see 'em! Been travelling around to see them quite a lot, and I'm always up for a new tour with them! They mean pretty much everything to me, and I'm more than happy that I've had the chance to go on tours. After the long breaks and all the missing, it's the best feeling in the world to get to see them again! :)
Another thing that I love is my friends. If you ever end up hurting them or breaking their hearts, you'll find yourself in trouble with me in no time at all!
I'm pretty easy to get to know to, and I like meeting new people and making new friends. But I don't trust people easily, I mean really trust them. It takes time, so have patience. I can also be a bit difficult every now and then, that's just something you have to deal with if you wanna be my friend. I appreciate people who are honest and straight, I hate people who make everything so damn complicated.
I think that's all you need to know for now. Oh and one more thing. I'm not adding people I don't already know! I don't wanna call strangers my friends, so if you wanna get to know me, fine. Send me a message first and we'll see. The same goes for bands, don't even bother sending those friend requests. Like I've already said, I'm very picky with my music, and I won't add you unless you blow my mind, which you usually don't, or you're friends of mine. End of story.
