Phatt-B aka Matthias Eckardt was born on 02.06.1979 in Weimar. His interest in electronic music awakened late at the age of 19 years as he first listened to the sounds of Dj Sven-R-G & Michael MB. Taken Sven-R-G as his Idol he bought his first Turntabels and started mixing Vinyls. 2001 he met Detlef Eggert who gave him a chance as DJ at his partys. Over the next 2 years, he learned from the local Residents Seb Zero, Master Bird and Ziggy-X to enthusiasm the Crowd. Soon, he was even then Resident! Entering 2004 he met the producer Sascha Graune who gave him the feet to Producing Music. Now he has his own small studio at home and start the first beginnings. With his studio colleague and friend Markus Potschka were the first songs produced and testet at the Clubs. With Phatt Boy vs. Noccio - check Thiz Out! They landet there fist Clubhit at 2005. In a collaboration with Mental Madness he met in October 2006 Andreas Ewert who's known as Andrew Dawn aka Pitch Boys and Dj Bouncer. With him he founded in November 2006, the project Phatt-B vs. Bouncer. In February 2007, their first single Phatt-B vs. Bouncer - The Message 2007 was released on Mental Madness.
