**BIO**I am a professional boxer. My record is currently 10 fights, 10 wins (7 K.O's). I just moved from Edinburgh, Scotland to Los Angeles with my fiance Sally.Craig McEwan was born on the 13th April 1982 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He began attending boxing classes at Clovenstone Amateur Boxing Club, aged seven, coached by his father Rab. He had his first competitive bout aged eleven. During his teenage years Craig developed into one of Scotland’s top amateur boxers. His fast switch-hitting style soon ensured that he was not only a winner but also a crowd pleaser. In his thirteen years as an amateur boxer he notched up an impressive three hundred and seventy-six fights, winning ten gold medals in international tournaments and was a regular captain of the Scottish International Team. On several occasions he has been crowned Scottish champion at both junior and senior level, as well as being European Junior Champion and Senior British & Irish Four Nations Champion. He has twice represented Scotland in the Commonwealth Games, winning a bronze medal in 2002. Last year he broke Scotland’s amateur boxing record by winning a hat trick of golds at international level.Craig is currently staying in Hollywood and living out his childhood dream of training in the legendary Wild Card Gym under the guidance of Freddy Roach. He is excited about being promoted by World Champion Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions Inc and is eagerly looking forward to his first fight on September 16th on the Barrera-Juarez undercard. De La Hoya’s style and skill has been much admired by Craig over the years.Craig is confident that, backed by Roach and De La Hoya, his professional career will be as successful as his amateur one.
