Alter-Ego(Seth Johnson)

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace) I was born in the Bronx, NY. Music has always been a big part of my life. My main influence is my parents who always had music on in the house. My father had a serious record collection of the classics from soul to jazz to funk to r&b. Hip-Hop has been the biggest influence from Run-Dmc to Tribe called Quest and everything in between. Hip-hop was like the missing piece that made me appreciate music and where it came from and where it was going. So I started w/drum lessons and played in some bands locally in NY. I played everything from smooth Jazz , funk, r&b, and rock. Back in 2000 I moved to Delaware and met an MC JL aka Jay Lock he got me into music production and rhyming. Since then I've just been building w/local MC's in the tri-state area. Also jamming w/local musicians in the area. What pushes me to keep doing this is love for the music and just trying to add on to what the great musicians before me have done. I called myself Alter-Ego aka the "Elixir" because it's like you work a 9-5 to live but when you do this music you turn into a different person your true self it's your other personality. My goal is to keep grinding and just keep putting out the best music I can and take this as far as I can go. There's no limit!
