JULIAN CLOSE: Julian started in the music business in 1985 when he signed to Seymour Stein/Warners as a recording artist with the group Red Box. Their first single “Lean On Me†reached number 3 in the UK and enjoyed top 10 positions across Europe. The second single “For America†was a similar top ten success across Europe. Julian then went on to work for EMI Records in various A&R positions, including Director of A&R and group A&R executive.
