KUD Technologia is an electronic music artistic society, based in Celje-Slovenia....::::....::::.....::::....::::....::::....: :::....::::....::::....::::....::::....:::. The idea of forming the organisation came in 1995 when Tadej Šulgaj a.k.a. Techfreak and his friends got a place in an old school bunker in the northern side of town called Hudinja - Celje. Boys brought in their computers and speakers and started making music, playing it in front of their friends and fans. They also started organising parties and afterparties themselves. Parties were visited mostly by the people that were regulars at massive techno parties in Celje that started to evolve at that time. Celje was one of the greatest places to visit as a techno and party goer at that time. Love for music was all they had, so even back at that time, they wanted to have their own organisation, an organisation that will have all their energy, knowledge and experience to create music, help other unknown dj's and producers to do what they want and love. They wanted to open a club, a studio, in which they could work, create and perform. But unfortunatley the big love for the music wasn't enough. No one of the talented youngsters was a rich parent's son, so their dreams never came true. Potential sponsors turned their backs on those young people, no one supported them, they had to leave the bunker in 1999. Friends were separated, there was no place to hang in and exchange ideas. But that didn't keep Techfreak's mind off the things that meant his life. He got a new job in 1999 and met some young people that were positive and musically oriented as he was. After all the preparations and sleepless nights, at the end of 2002, they all agreed that in the begining of 2003 they are going to form an electronic music society called KUD TECHNOLOGIA (cultural atristic society Technologia). The name was born in the mind of the founder – Techfreak, it was taken from his favourite kind of music – TECHNO. LOGIA was meant as some kind of logic that followed the word techno. So the only type of music that is logical is TECHNO.
