About Me

Myspace Contact TablesC*C**C2 Click here for Myspace glitter graphics and Myspace layouts
I am an ageing asteroid hurtling through space at the most alarming rate. I hope to collide with literary supernovas for pleasing impact. My trusted hound Muffin who is in search of the Dog Star accompanies me. At present I have landed on MySpace and am enjoying cyber connections. When not hurtling I write light and comic verse. My writing has been described as surreal and anarchic and is influenced by Milligan and Lear. I write nursery rhymes for grown ups and consider myself a modern day Lear but without the Owl and the Pussycat. I do not know much about me, as I've never been on a journey of self-discovery because I wouldn't know where to start. However my friends say that I'm positive, determined and forthright; as I'm also gullible it has to be true because I believe everything people tell me. My outer shell is pure sugar coating and the grey matter of my mind is soft sponge and mallow and it is there I encounter my ideas.

My work has been featured in the local press, magazines and anthologies and can be found also on the bbc blackcountry website in the theatre and books section: called Carol Ward Blurring of Genders, also Carol Ward The Latest which is about the trials and tribulations of being a poet

That's me folks
