About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorWhen I was twelve I decided to write a novel; not because there was anything I particularly wanted to tell, simply to prove that I could. I’ve never lacked in ego. About six months into this endeavour I realized this was not the way to go, and began to rewrite the story, this time with an actual plot. Five years and three rewrites later Soul of the Woods was completed, the first in the Stories of La’Dor. I have now written two novels, Soul of the Woods and its sequel Aegis of the Ocean and have just begun work on my third novel Voice of the Flames. I am also the author of various short stories, some of which can be viewed in my blog. I am currently unpublished, for all you wonderful people who've expressed interest in my work, but I hope to rectify that somewhere in the near future... preferably before I'm old and gray. Somewhere along this interesting journey I came to the realization that I wanted to be a writer, not simply to prove myself, but because I actually enjoyed it. This was a huge revelation to me, though others were a little stunned that I had already written one novel and only then come to the conclusion that I wanted to be a writer, but to be honest that sort of thing is typical of me.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves a good book.

Soul of the Woods
Having escaped from a decade of life as a slave, young princess Demora is out for revenge; for the murder of her family, the theft of her birthright and the torment she has suffered at the hands of her masters. But she'll need help, and that's where Liam comes in. A heroic leader in the rebel army, the mysterious shapeshifter has long been Demora's idol and secret love, but her fantasy of him is destroyed when he abandons her after she saves his life. Despite his betrayal Demora is determined to gain Liam's help and resorts to blackmail to get it. Forced to aide a "fifteen year old, neurotic princess, whose greatest enjoyment in life is to torment him" Liam searches for any means possible to extricate himself from Demora's suicidal mission. But as their adventure progresses and the two must constantly rely on each other for survival a volatile friendship between the pair is formed that will change their lives forever.
