I've been in the video production industry as a camera operator for more than 20 years, most of it on the Hawaiian island of Maui, where I have spent most of my life and ran my own event and commercial video production company, Camera Four Productions. My client list is extensive including all major networks and cable stations and many celebrities.

Though I started filmmaking at age ten with an old 8mm Brownie movie camera, I received my formal education in video production from the U.S. ARMY where I served with the 1st Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at Fort Bragg, NC from 1984 to 1988 as a Video Production Specialist in the 4th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne). I was a Paratrooper and proudly served under President Ronald Reagan whom I did have the opportunity of meeting at Fort Bragg in 1987. I was deployed many times with various Special Forces groups (Green Berets) around the globe. My experience in the Army was one of my most rewarding.
In 2004 I moved to Las Vegas where I transitioned into independent filmmaking as a Director of Photography. I also worked closely with 702 Productions, one of Las Vegas's most sought after production companies. The last independent feature I worked on as DP/Cinematographer was THE CASINO JOB, shot entirely in Las Vegas and Laughlin NV. I also had the invaluable experience of working with legendary cult filmmaker, Ted V. Mikels on HEART OF A BOY. Since then, we have become very close friends. Ted is an amazing individual. I also worked at The Green Valley Ranch as an Audio/Visual Technician.
In 2006 my brother, sister and I bought family property in Fort Wayne Indiana and I volunteered to "retire" there. It is a welcomed change of pace from the stress a westcoast high cost-of-living will bring. Trying to network with local filmmakers, but there doesn't seem to be much of a indie film community here in Fort Wayne but being the optimist I am writing a script and hope to be shooting later this year. I am looking for anyone wanting to contribute music (instrumental/rockabilly) and collaborate in writing.

Lately I have been experimenting with Super-8, the format I began on back in the 70's.
