I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am literally one of the luckiest guys in the world. I've managed to find the things in my life that matter the most. The most important of those being my wife who I love with all my heart and don't know what I'd do without. My mother has always been there to love and support me in whatever I do. She's one of the reasons that I'm allowed to do what I love to do for a living, and that is radio. She supported my choice to start an Internet radio station, Ace & Gunn Country Radio (insert shout out to Sean Gunn here), while I was in college and beyond. Without that, I may have never gotten my first break into mainstream radio. I've done the grunt work pulling long part time hours and I've also had the opportunity to be the host of a number one rated morning show. I can't imagine doing anything else. I've gotten into doing some voice over work too which is a lot of fun. Here's some of my work, listen for yourself!

Other than that I'm simple really. I don't need a whole lot. One of the things I say a lot is to just, "relax and enjoy life." I like surrounding myself with people that share my sarcastic sense of humor, just crack jokes, tell stories and talk about life in general.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Being in the radio business I've gotten to meet a lot of very cool people. I never get "starstruck" and don't really ever see that happening with a few exceptions. Two country music icons, Garth Brooks and George Strait. King George is just the man, I don't think there's much else I need to say there. Garth Brooks is more than just a singer, he's a great man. He not only is possibly the greatest singer/songwriter of all time, but he left at the top of his game to spend more time with his family. I admire Garth for his music a great deal, but I admire him more for his commitment to his family. I'd love to one day get the chance to shake his hand and tell him how much he's influenced my life. I'd also really like to meet Brett Farve someday. He just loves the game of football and I think he'd be a cool guy to hang out with.

My Blog

30 years have passed...now what?

You know it's funny, I was just saying to my lovely wife the other day that I can never think of anything to blog about anymore.  This time it was easy.  For those who don't know, yours truly has now ...

Change...in general.

The first thing I'm going to change is that I won't start off my blog by saying how long it's been since I've done a blog.  Nope, won't do it.  I've never been one to pick the popular topic, but it se...

How I feel after the election

Normally I'm not a fan of a knee-jerk reaction blog.  Talking about something right after it happens without a chance to really take it all in.  This time though, a little voice in my head t...

It's hard to believe that in less than 10 days Pam and I will finally be getting married!   It's funny even though we've been together for a while and knew we'd get married eventually, I've still...
