Edit History

HEY! This just in! We have video footage from our last show at Mississippi! Unfortunately, you can't see us that well, but you can hear one our new songs! Hope you like it!In the past year Take the Blame has undergone a transformation. With the addition of Leslie (Play/Start) on guitar we have found that we've become a new band. Preoccupied with the ways in which we all tell our histories with our own slant, as well as the ways history is revised to suit the needs of a given culture or political party, we have become Edit History. In much the same way that Take the Blame served as a mantra for our views on culpability both in our society and interpersonally, we view Edit History as a political and personal name for our band. We are all editing history, constantly changing our stories, forgetting the true lines of time, and making things our own. For better or worse we do not remember things perfectly, we cannot be the ideal storytellers without first creating a little bit of the story from our imaginations. Be as honest as you can, but just know, we're all changing history.
