About Me

I am worth $2,275,248 on HumanForSale.comIf you're wondering if I have dropped off the face of the earth.....it might be because I'm currently living in South Africa right now.......loving it......might move here........enough said.Well, I am a person always looking for an epic adventure, challenge, or schnannagans. It doesn't matter if I am driving in a car or skydiving out of an airplane.......I like to ALWAYS have fun! I am getting too old for boredum or frowns!I was born and raised in the last Frontier, and couldn't ask for a better state, even though I currently reside in Washington for school (UW). I might live in many places throughout my life, but Alaska will always be my number 1.I love to do anything and everything including: rafting, kayaking, clubbing, hiking, fishing, running, skiing, snowboarding, road tripping, soccer, and of course......lateral thinking puzzles! Hah! (That's for you, Leah!) I DON'T like asparagus, mushrooms, or unsliced tomatoes..........or tying my shoes (slip-ons are all the rage).Currently, I'm a rafting guide in the Evergreen State of Washington. It's probably about one of the only things that has kept me afloat with school. I also was a ski instructor this past winter at Alpental. The water and snow community are probably some of the best people!....they love nature......and all the stresses of life just seem to fade away for the moment when I'm hanging out with them.I can NOT WAIT to start traveling again.....and am frustrated that school is sucking up all my time and money right now. That's right, gentlemen.....I'm on my way to getting my Civil and Environmental Engineering degree, with a minor in International Relations. So I would keep me close, because my Sugar Mamma status is going to shoot through the roof! Plus, I'm a rafting guide.....how can you beat that!?Here are some pictures from work: Standing 180 feet below the ground with the TBM (tunnel boring machine)behind me. Standing on the TBM (this city on rails is several cars long). The front bearing section of the TMB. This machine is 8 Million dollars!!! The solid ground is about 20 feet ahead.

My Interests

For the full effect of "The Hoff" let it buffer for a few extra seconds....and then enjoy!!!!! Here are some pictures from rafting with my company, Orion Expeditions. Pictures from this years Deschutes River guide training. Random pictures with my fellow Orionites Rafting pictures from the Green River, Skykomish River, and North Fork of the Sky

I'd like to meet:

People who keep me from being bored......kind of like this.....

Music:

I am a lover of it all......except for heavy metal (sorry). It really matters what kind of a mood I am in, and what the scene is. When I'm in Seattle for school, it's often all about the clubs and dancing.....however, when I'm back in good ol' Alaska, the folk festivals seem to pull me in. I was in the jazz ensemble at UW for a while, and now rely on belting it out in my shower to get the singing out of my system.

Movies:

I love a good movie, however, I am often too cheap to see one in the theater, and would rather play outside than sit on my butt for 2 hours (usually). Here are several exceptions to the rule: A River Runs Through It, Remember the Titans, The Notebook, Black Hawk Down, Pirates of the Caribbean, Chocolat, Sixteen Candles, Life is Beautiful, Office Space, Ocean's Eleven, Garden State, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Moulin Rough, Chicago, Footloose, A Walk to Remember, Run Lola Run

Television:

I grew up with only 5 channels (regular broadcasting), so I learned (thank goodness) to go and play outside. I will admit, however, that Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives, and Top Model have postponed my homework on many of occasions.

Books:

Last Breath, Into The Wild, On the Road Again, Travels with Charlie, The DeVinci Code, Einstein's Dream, Into Thin Air, Poems by Robert Service,.....let me think about it

Heroes:

People who take chances even when everyone's against them.
