<Yung Horrorkane Quiksta (25)... Born Jovan Bowden in Gary, IN (G.I.) Started rapping at the age of 12 yrs. He got his first Nation-Wide exposure on the unsigned label Strictly Getting Paid, recorded in '99-'00 on the compilation "Let's Get that Money". HORRORKANE starred in a commercial in 2001 for The Bomb Record Store, w/ Cap1 that aired on BET, MTV, and VH-1.QUIKSTA is known for his rapid-fire delivery along w/ a highly energetic flow. He has a very unique and distinctive voice and the ability to use his voice in many pitches is one of his trademarks. He is respected in his hometown as a pioneer in this art. Many have compared his style to Twista and Bone Thugs -n- Harmony. QUIKSTA has been featured on countless mixtapes in the midwest region such as "Straight up Gangsta Shit" vol. 11 & 13, "Midwest Mobstaz" vol. 2. He is currently on the website www.Chibangin.com under Northwest Indiana Rap. You can hear him on "G.I. Legends" and is also featured on "Midwest Best".HORRORKANE has released a few promotional cd's; "The Evidence - "Past & Present Hits 1998-2004", "Hightimes Muzzic Mix", and "The Ransom Note" (2007). In 2001 HORRORKANE moved to Indianapolis, IN and stared a group called Slang Gang that performed in many area shows.
