Band Members: Eazy Wayne In the parish of St. Elizabeth, spent most of his youthful years in St. Elizabeth where he attended the Black River Primary School. After leaving Primary school he went to Black River High where he completed a course in electrical installation. Eazy Wayne wanted more than that, so he went on to music which was his dream. If you ask Eazy at what age he started loving music he would smile and say “before birth”. Before birth he says because his recollection of when he started loving music is infinite. His earliest musical influences were Bob Marley, Dennis Brown and Garnett Silk as the singer selection; but Shabba, Buju and Tony Rebel are the main source of his confidence and vibes builder. Eazy Wayne was once known as John Wayne he was working on a small sound system in the country. When he took up residence in the Prembroke Hall area in Kingston, his friends realized how flexible and fluid his movements were and he was given the name Eazy as Eva. Eazy Wayne is an artist whose technique is unique and vibrant and he believes that one must always maintain a level of professionalism, because that’s what has put him on big billed shows such as Sting ‘96’, Fluid, G.T. Taylor Extravaganza Remix, East Fest, Judgement Fi Dem, among many other. Eazy Wayne has singles such as “Dancehall Days”, which is a collaboration with British-based singer Amharic; “Life Worries” and “Joy and Harmony”. These singles are receiving numerous airplays both internationally and locally. His other tunes include songs such as “Whenever I’m Away” (which also has a music video), “Warfare”, (Both are on the Blooming Productions Label), and “Stand Up For Us” which is on the Positive Star Label. His latest tunes are “Up In The Heights”, and “Judgement Fi Dem” (that is creating a “storm” on the local scene). A music video is now available for “judgement Fi Dem”. Eazy Wayne is destined to pass the top. He says “he can’t be stopped, with righteousness and a deep sense of JAH his Creator, Eazy Wayne will be for IVER…..
