Stereotype

About Me

“Up-rock”- call it a hook-heavy hybrid of pop, rock and alternative - defined by five and multiplied by eleven to equal ‘2’, the long awaited follow-up to Stereotypes 2005 self-titled debut. The unassuming title of ‘2’ is in high contrast to the eventful journey shared by the five strong alliance of Armondo Fowlow, Don-E Coady, Brad Morgan, Chris Kirby and Mark Marshall. More than a simple reference to the next chapter, ‘2’ stands for a mission accomplished and a return from the lowlights of reconstruction to remind and to warn the masses. Prepare for impact because Stereotype are runnin’ back with 53 minutes of proof that determination is audible. The eleven original recordings featured on Stereotype 2 tell many stories of life in the rock arena. Metaphorical tributes, hindsight anthems and the rise and fall of relations are imbedded subject matter. The energetic live performance of each song has become as much a part of Stereotype’s signature sound as the songs they have captured on their upcoming release. With a growing collection of original material that honors a diverse range of influences, Stereotype remains committed to their 2003 action plan by delivering an even flow of original and classic up-rock - cementing their reputation as a progressive songwriting band that fills both the soft seat and the dance floor with open-eared and faithful fans. You are invited to celebrate the official release of Stereotype 2:
