Peace and Blessing's everyone and welcome to my part of the space, I know many of you are having problems pronouncing my name so let me see if I can help you with it. The name I chosed is from the African Swahili language, the first word is pronounced NA-KE-CHI (na-keh-chee) which means “GOD GAVE ME A BLESSING" and the second part of my name is ISSA (e-sa) which means “GOD IS OUR SALVATION†and MZAADA (mm-za-da) which means "FREEDOM". Yes I am a God fearing woman who Loves the Lord and whom I also refer to as My Father, Yes all PRAISES ARE DUE! Glory Hallelujah. I was born into the Baptist Faith, but 16 years ago on decisions of my own, I decided to convert over to the PENTACOSTLE Faith. Before I continue I must give The FATHER all the Praises that is due to him. First and Foremost I would like to Thank and give Honor to GOD for everything that he has done for me, because without him I am nothing, he is "My Rock" and "My Backbone" in everything I do. THE LORD has truly been good to me, where I can only begin to Thank HIM for what he has done for me and seen me through in my life.
Okay moving along, here’s a brief introduction about myself, I’m 5..5, 145lbs., I live in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, and from my picture you can see that I am mixed race, which is African-American and Hispanic/Latino. I just recently changed jobs from administrative assistant and I’m going back to school to further my last and final degree in Social Work. If and when I have the time I enjoy exercising and writing, along with spending time with my family and friends.
This may seem funny to some of you, but I am a Die-Hard "TREKKIE" as some call it, "STAR-TREK" is one of my favorite TV shows *Smile*. I’ve been raised on it and I love them all, from the original pilot episode "The Menagarie" with Captain Christopher Pike, followed by the original with Captain James T. Kirk (U.S.S. Enterprise) & although he’s was not a captain until Star-Trek hit the movies, but "SPOCK" is one Cool Dude *Smile*. Then there’s Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Next Generation), Captain Catherine Janeway (Voyager), Captian Sisko (Deep Space Nine). Continuing the Saga with the Captain Jonanthan Archer and the new series ("ENTERPRISE"). And I must say that My-Girls! "UHURAH", Councelor Troi, Tasha Yarr, "7 OF 9", Dr. Beverly Crusher, T..Pol (The Vulcan Woman from Enterprise), Kira and Jadzia Dax (Deep Space Nine) in my book are the Space Diva..s that not only ruled but helped saved Galaxy from destruction of there alays such as “THE BORGâ€, “The Kligons, Cardassians and “The Ferengie†*Smile*. When I was a little girl, even up until now I love to watch the original series of "Lost In Space" especially the robot (I forgot his name) that would go "Danger, Danger Will Robinson!" LOL! I even enjoyed the movie that came out a few years back.
I also enjoy volunteering my services to different organizations, such as The Boys & Girls Club of America, where I get a great deal of achievement by me that I’m one out of many, who are trying to make a difference in our youth’s lives. I..m also part of the Big Brother’s and Big Sister’s organization as well as the YWCA, where I am a Mentor for adults and young adults with disabilities, which is something I truly enjoy and Love to do *Smile*. That is what makes this world so unique the fact that GOD has created for us and that we should appreciate people of all races, genders and physical abilities. And we can at least try to Love each other for who we are and not for what we are. So, on that note be sweet and always remember to keep GOD first in all that you do and love one another regardless of color, race, church or creed. And please keep in mind that "WHEN PRAISES GO UP, BLESSING'S WILL SURELY COME DOWN" and you are "TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED" and "TOO ANOINTED TO BE DISAPPOINTED!"
