The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live.

About Me

I graduated from Marist College in 2003 with my BA in Psych/Special Ed and am currently a special education teacher and have been working with students with a variety of special needs, but particularly autism. I currently live with my two cute kitties Oliver and Emma and my wonderful husband, James in Poughkeepsie, NY. We are both busy with our new business adventure - Apex Autosound. I love Volkswagens/Audis, especially my b6 Passat, the water and life! :)
Update 2007: Wow...a lot has been happening! James and I became engaged in March 2007 and are busily planning for our wedding, which is coming up in April. We are very excited to spend the special day with our close family and friends! Also, we recently moved back up to Poughkeepsie after purchasing our first place together where we have quickly learned what it is to be a homeowner - never ending renovations :)
I will also be graduating in December with my Masters and will be a certified teacher of the blind and visually impaired (TVI for short). For those of you who know me, this has been a long time coming and I thank everyone for supporting me and putting up with me for the last two and a half years. No one knows how excited I will be for this to be done and to finally have my life back. I look forward to reconnecting with all those who I have lost touch with over the past few years.
