About Me

B-4 Trees started off in Miami, FL of April 2005 as a power pop song and dance quartet but the guys didnt have cool costumes and they didnt have cool hair. Realizing that they would never have what it takes to rival that of N' Sync, these four wildly handsome young men with poor taste in clothing found themselves facing another direction. They began listening to jazz, funk, rock and roll, and R&B while rehearsing religiously. After countless recording sessions and highly enhanced digital photography they became Before Trees.

In a thriving cultural orgy that defines Miami from other population hubs one will find the many influences of music. From Latin to Hip-Hop, the basis for the creation of appealing music ranges from contributions of vast international communities to money-making schemes suitable only to the market of which that genre exists. Where does Before Trees fit?

With advancements in technology and the Internet, local residents and artists are able to form a hamlet of creativity. Music is not just arriving from pooled and cultivated masses but is developed from within the network neighborhood. Putting aside the moans and sexual overtones that resonate from the city, Before Trees manifests from simply being part of Miami's cooperative. Now place the moans and sexual overtones back in and multiply.
Each member of the band’s musical acquisition stems from the innate desire to play artistically. From an impulsively charged and innovative pianist/keyboardist, an adverse and grooved bass work, and the worldly studies of the drummer, the foundation is built upon the musical upbringing of a collective. Whether the vibrations of the music bounce off of dead leaves and the dirty ground or reach a brain or two for processing, the will for creativity and influence will remain. Before Trees shape these sounds into individual and communal meaning while never forgetting the roots of jazz, blues, and culture.

The band would like to thank the U.S. troops over seas and thank all of their moms and dads. Before Trees would also like to thank the people of Miami for their hospitality. The band would never have been able to make it this far if it weren't for you, Miami. Above all, Before Trees would like to thank Alan Thicke and Tony Danza for being a part of such great family-enriched entertainment.
